Terroir Imports is the seamless fusion of vision and execution. At Terroir, our love for wine transcends international frontiers and collaborates with passionate wine producers around the globe in order to bring you quality wines.

Our wine importation agency was founded by Mathew Foulidis in 2019 in the city of Montreal. Not only is Mathew a wine lover, but he is also passionate about sharing his self-cultivated knowledge with the world. This is Mathew’s second business venture in wine importation, and he is applying the knowledge he has acquired to innovate the way we think about wine and sell it in Montreal. The original inspiration for wine importation came from Mathew’s desire to elevate the Quebecois market to a level where it could compete with some of the biggest cities around the world such as New York, Paris and San Francisco.

At Terroir, our mission is to offer quality wines through sustainable collaborations with vineyards from across the world. We strive to present savoury wines and share the level of care we have for grapes by offering excellent customer service to our clients. We acknowledge that there are various levels of appreciation for wine and aspire to render our products accessible to all. We believe that wine is an impressive domain and that it might be intimidating to some, therefore it is our mission to help our clients discover new flavours and develop their palate.

At Terroir Imports we like to take a step back and allow the wine to speak for itself. Every buttery note, hint of wood, floral bouquet, aroma of underbrush, taste of minerals, speaks volumes of the product but more importantly of the women and men around the world and the work that they do to cultivate land and share with us the fruit of their labour. We believe that it is important to honour the convictions of our producers and to translate to the consumer the tender love and care that went into the conception of said wine.

Terroir Imports collaborates with the Société des Alcools du Québec in order to provide its products to Canadian consumers.
